Thu - Feb. 14, 18 The boys all left at 4 oclock this morning on a hike for two days. seven of us left here on special detail. eat at 362nd Co. awfully cold but clear. Send B._ a box of candy. got a letter from her and answered it. trying to snow quite hard. go to bed early. Fri - Feb. 15, '18 get up at 7: o'clock eat breakfast at 7:30 go to work at eight. nothing much to do all morning kept busy all afternoon. The fellows got back about 4 P.M. from their hike. trying to snow. go to bed early, get up at 1:30 for fire call. fire in the Base hospital |
Sat - Feb. 16, 18 special detail. The boys are all out for review today. raining again. the Tacoma club gave a dance for our benefit tonight I attended and had a fairly good time. snowing hard. got to camp at 3:oclock Sun. morning about 4 inches of snow on the ground. I got an awful cold. Sun - Feb. 17, '18 get up at 7. A.M. go to the librabry and read awhile come back write to Berniece and to mother. sleep all after- noon and go to bed early. |
